MTS Diesel recommends a Billet output shaft for any truck with 600 hp or more. The shaft should be used in conjunction with a Billet iput shaft and a billet intermediate shaft. Any truck that is going to see drag strip or sled pulling this shaft is a must. This is a common breaking point for drag racing and sled pulling.
